Amanda Paletz

Amanda Paletz is a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a B.A. in Political Science-Pre-Law and a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Amanda earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2002. Amanda is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Amanda has practiced criminal law since 2003 and has handled misdemeanors, felonies and juvenile matters throughout the State of Michigan. Amanda is a strong advocate for her clients and has a passion for helping people navigate the criminal justice system.
Amanda also practices in the area of family law (divorce, custody, child support, termination of parental rights) and is a graduate of the State Bar of Michigan's Family Law Certificate Program.
Amanda is a member of the following professional organizations: Criminal Law and Family Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, Women's Lawyer's Association of Michigan, Michigan Inter-Professional Association. Amanda is also an advisor to the State Bar of Michigan's Domestic Violence Committee and volunteers for Service to Soldiers, a pro-bono group dedicated to representing military personnel from Michigan.
